Workshop ~ The Compassionate Witness 1:30 - 4:45pm
"Embodied moving towards a loving connection with all of me"
This somatic workshop is a didactic and highly experiential exploration using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Authentic Movement (AM) as a template of discovery and connection to our inner mover(s) and witnessing presence. The witnessing presence in AM offers a safe and compassionate container for parts of us to have the direct experience of being seen, held and understood through movement. The safety in the Witness/Mover dyad is an opportunity for protective parts as well as more vulnerable parts of us to have an opportunity to move and tell their story. This experience creates an opportunity to befriend, embody and create new and secure attachments to parts of ourselves that have long been misunderstood, rejected and exiled.
Class ~ "Compassionate Witness" 5:00 - 6:00pm
Bringing his experience in many somatic practices, Ray will lead an experience influenced by Broga (Yoga For Men) with sprinkled Nia elements! Sounds like we'll be enjoying dessert before Dinner - yum!
