I'm so looking forward to sharing a delicious double scoop of movement magic with you this Saturday!
We’ll begin at 8:45am CT with the gentle, self-healing practice of Nia 5 Stages. Our focus this week is on Ligaments and Tendons, those essential fibers that, together with our muscles, weave the tapestry of our body's support system. Through mindful movement and somatic exploration, we’ll tune into how these connective tissues connect, mediate, stabilize, and adapt. Expect a grounding, nourishing start to your day.
Then at 10am CT, we’ll dance Nia’s newest routine: Soar, created by Megan MacArthur. I’ve had such a joyful time learning this playful and creative routine throughout the month. After offering a Fun Friday adaptation to your song requests and experiencing Helen’s beautiful kata-style version, I’m excited to step in and share the original choreography... with a little Natasha flair!
Our focus for Soar will be: Core, Middle, Reach, with the intent to explore these centers of expression from all sides of your body while staying tuned into the sensations and wisdom of your connective tissue.
