The HERO: A Soma Faith Movement PlaylistS
The Hero: Monthly Playlist Collection (Curated by Helen)
Music can be a lovely companion to our journey through the 12 Hero Archetypes. This month’s Hero music collection suggestions are designed to meet you across rhythms of life, whether you’re walking, working, training, thinking, moving, driving, reflecting, or simply playing music in the background while doing chores.
These four playlists offer different entry points into the same invitation: courage in motion, formed through consistency.
1. Hero Soundscape (3+ Hours)
An expansive, collection featuring artists like Hans Zimmer, Ludovico Einaudi, and M83.
This playlist is designed for the long arc, like the training ground of the Hero. Use it while working, walking, lifting, creating, or anytime you would like some sustained focus and momentum.
How to engage:
Let the music run in the background of your life. Notice how it shapes your pace, your posture, your follow-through. This is where discipline becomes a rhythm, not a force.
2. Soma Faith Journey 30 Minutes (Developmental Soundscape)
A concise, intentional arc that moves from grounding to action. This is your accessible daily practice, a way to step into the Hero with clarity and focus.
How to engage:
Press play and give yourself these 30 minutes fully. Move gently at first, breathing, reaching, awakening the body. As the music builds, allow your movement to follow. This can be structured or free, what matters is that you stay with it, sustain presence.
3. Soma Faith Journey 52 Minutes (Expanded Developmental Soundscape)
A deeper dive into the Hero’s path. This extended journey gives space for strength to build, for resistance to arise, and for you to practice staying present through a longer journey.
How to engage:
Let this be your immersive session. Begin slowly, then gradually expand into strength, into rhythm, into full-bodied movement. You may choose guided patterns or let yourself dance freely. When challenge comes, don’t rush past it, go with it, work within it, be with it.
4. Soma Faith Hero Worship — 52 Minutes
A powerful, faith-centered soundscape featuring artists like Elevation Worship and Bethel Music, inviting you to root your strength not just in effort, but in devotion.
How to engage:
Move as prayer. This can be soft and surrendered, gentle swaying, kneeling, stillness, or it can rise into full expression. Let your body respond honestly. There is no performance here, only presence.
An Invitation to Listen + Move
You don’t need perfect conditions. You don’t need to “feel ready.”
Start where you are:
Some days, sit and simply listen.
Some days, move gently (stretching, breathing, reconnecting)
Some days, let the music carry you into full, unfiltered movement (dance, sweat, engage)
The Hero is not formed in a single moment of intensity,
instead in the choice to return.
Again and again.
Press play.
Stay with it.
Let the music shape your courage.
