17 Years of Love, Memories & New Possibilities
Well, it's official! Soma Ranch is now on the market.
Looking through the beautiful photographs accompanying our listing, I find myself pausing to take it all in. Every corner holds a memory. Every building, garden, gathering space and little detail tells a story of the love, energy and dreams that Joe and I have poured into this very special place over the past 17 years.
What began as a vision has grown into something far more wonderful than we could ever have imagined.
Soma Ranch has been a place of hospitality, education, wellness, movement, connection and celebration. It has welcomed people from near and far, hosted retreats and workshops, inspired countless Nia and movement classes, nurtured friendships, and provided a space for people to pause, replenish and renew.
There have been weddings, funerals, celebrations, family gatherings, shared meals, deep conversations, laughter, dancing, learning and plenty of good Texas hospitality. Joe has fed many a hungry soul, while I've had the joy of creating experiences that nourish the body, mind and spirit.
And, of course, there are the quieter memories too. Morning walks, time with the animals, beautiful sunsets, a dip in the pool, and those moments when you simply stop and appreciate the magic of being here.
Looking back, I feel an enormous sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the journey, for the people who have been part of it, for the opportunities we've had, and for the many ways this little corner of Texas has touched lives.
Now it's time to open the door to a new chapter.
As our family grows and life invites us into new adventures, including more precious time with our daughter and family in Seattle, opportunities to spend time in my home country of England, visit family in Spain and hopefully tour around catching up with friends and sharing a little movement magic along the way, we feel ready to see what comes next.
We are excited to find someone who will fall in love with Soma Ranch just as we have. Someone who can see the possibilities, appreciate its unique character and hopefully bring their own dreams to life here.
Whether that's continuing its legacy as a retreat and wellness destination, creating a beautiful wedding or event venue, welcoming guests for memorable ranch getaways, or simply enjoying it as a very special private country estate, the possibilities are wonderful.
I'm praying for the perfect buyer, and that they find their way to Soma with ease. I hope they will love this place, care for it and create their own beautiful memories here.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our Soma Ranch story. Whether you attended a class, stayed for a retreat, shared a meal, celebrated a special occasion, worked alongside us or simply cheered us on, you have helped make Soma what it is today.
There is a lot of love in these walls, and we are so grateful to have shared it.
And just to be clear, this isn't goodbye quite yet! Soma classes continue, although new ranch bookings are on hold for now as we navigate this transition.
