Today, riding the joyful waves from our community Thanksgiving Sunday Jam, I chose to expand/extend our Jam playlist into a 60 minute experience for our 10am class. The result was grounded, expressive, joyful connection.

The participants in the room, and also “in the zoom” who dance on our “wall of smiles, enjoyed continuing our collective expression of gratitude. Our appreciation includes giving thanks for

  • connection

  • freedom to express

In spired by the poem Elaine Dunphy shared yesterday the pulse of the class, choreography and community was how 80% of life (and succeeding) is simply showing up. The class wasn’t perfectly polished, I as the teacher was far from 100% prepared, participants didn’t follow/perform all the moves and yet, this is how we dance. Celebration Soma Community Jam

Wow! thank you everybody who signed up and showed up for our Community Celebration Jam this afternoon.

A jam class is where a group of teachers offer an experience where they each teach a song or few. This was one of the smoothest jams I’ve ever experienced.

Happy Friday!

Helen is enjoying quality time with daughter Liliana in Seattle, excited to attend the Lauren Daigle concert on Saturday with client/friend Emily Mockett; One of the great things about hosting retreats and trainings at Soma Ranch is how guests around the world can become great friends.

Joe is hosting 2 groups at Soma this weekend through AirBNB and enjoying the opportunity to be outside, tending to ranch maintenance in glorious Texas weather (we love this time of year in Texas).
