Here is a sample of how we bring prayer to the begining and end of each Soma Faith Movement class.

We want these experiences to be safe, welcoming and inclusive to all who want to experience Soma Faith.

Opening Prayer

Spirit of Wisdom,
Holy Mystery,
Source of all that teaches and all that lives,
We arrive here today with open bodies and open hearts.
Help us to become quiet enough to listen.
May we listen beyond the noise of the mind,
beyond what we think we already know,
and into the deeper wisdom of our bodies,
our breath, our senses, our experiences
and the sacred mystery within and around us.

Teach us the wisdom of slowing down.
Teach us the wisdom of noticing.
Teach us the wisdom of asking better questions
rather than needing immediate answers.

May this dance awaken something ancient and wise within us.

May we remember:
We are students.
We are seekers.
We are receivers.

And we are also bearers of wisdom.
Amen.
